How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Initiate the process by shutting off the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to secure the entire setup.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to completely release the pressure within the system, ensuring a safe and effortless membrane replacement.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing to gain clear and safe access.
4. Utilize the provided wrench to expertly unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. With pliers, gently extract and discard the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is securely positioned inside the housing for optimal performance.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to seamlessly complete the setup.
Note: If you encounter difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently rotate the RO membrane to ensure it is perfectly aligned with the pure water outlet for an impeccable fit.
