How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Shut off the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and the valve on the water tank.
2. Open the RO faucet and allow the system's pressure to release.
3. Remove the blue safety clip, depress the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing.
4. Employ the wrench to carefully unscrew the membrane housing cap.
5. Utilize pliers to extract the used membrane, dispose of it responsibly, and insert the new membrane. Ensure the end with two small washers is inserted first, pushing until it fits snugly into the membrane housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap. Reattach the disconnected tubing and secure the blue safety clip.
Note: If the housing cap resists reattachment, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it sits correctly at the pure water outlet.
