How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by securely closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to ensure a safe setup.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to completely release the pressure within the system, facilitating a safe and straightforward membrane replacement.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collet, and detach the tubing from the membrane housing for unobstructed access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. Gently employ pliers to extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is securely positioned within the housing.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip for a seamless setup.
Note: Should you encounter difficulty in securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure a perfect fit against the pure water outlet, achieving an impeccable seal.
