How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by shutting off the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the associated valve on the water tank.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to allow the pressure within the system to dissipate completely.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, depress the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing.
4. Utilize the provided wrench to carefully unscrew and remove the cap of the membrane housing.
5. With the help of pliers, extract the used membrane, dispose of it, and place in the new membrane. Insert the end with two washers first, ensuring it sits securely within the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to complete the process.
Note: Should you encounter difficulty in replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is correctly seated at the pure water outlet.
