How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Shut off the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and the valve on the water tank to prevent any water flow.
2. Open the RO faucet to allow the system pressure to decrease completely.
3. Detach the tubing by removing the blue safety clip, pushing down the collet, and gently pushing out the tubing from the membrane housing.
4. Utilize the wrench to carefully unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap.
5. Employ pliers to extract the used membrane, discard it, and gently insert the new membrane. Ensure the end with two small washers enters first and push until it securely seats within the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap. Reattach the tubing and reposition the blue safety clip.
Note: If the housing cap is difficult to replace, gently twist the RO membrane to help it seat properly to the pure water outlet.
