How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by turning off both the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and the valve on the water tank.
2. Open the RO faucet, allowing the system pressure to safely bleed off.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, then push down on the collect to gently disconnect the tubing from the membrane housing.
4. Using the provided wrench, twist off the membrane housing cap.
5. Employ pliers to extract the used membrane. Dispose of it and insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two little washers is inserted first. Push until it sits securely within the housing.
6. Replace and firmly tighten the membrane housing cap. Reconnect the tubing and reattach the blue safety clip.
Note: If you encounter difficulty replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to align it properly with the pure water outlet.
