How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to secure the setup.
2. Proceed by opening the RO faucet to completely release the pressure within the system, ensuring a safe and easy membrane replacement process.
3. Gently remove the blue safety clip, then press the collect and carefully detach the tubing from the membrane housing to provide clear access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to effortlessly unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. With pliers, gently extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring that the end with two washers is securely positioned inside the housing for optimal performance.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and attach the blue safety clip to seamlessly complete the setup.
Note: If you encounter difficulty securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly seated against the pure water outlet for a perfect fit.
