How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by securely closing the feed water supply line valve that leads to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to secure the setup effectively.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to completely release the pressure within the system, ensuring a safe and straightforward membrane replacement process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and delicately detach the tubing from the membrane housing for easy access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to unscrew and detach the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. Using pliers, gently extract and dispose of the old membrane. Introduce the new membrane, making sure the end with two washers is securely positioned inside the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to complete the setup seamlessly.
Note: Should you encounter difficulty in securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly seated against the pure water outlet for a flawless fit.
