Product Description
WATER & FOOD USE: Our water flow restrictor is crafted from safe, non-toxic materials, making it an ideal choice across a variety of applications. Perfectly suited for Household Water Purifiers, Commercial Water Purifiers, and Small Reverse Osmosis equipment, it's a versatile solution that ensures safety and reliability.

SIZE & TUBE COMPATIBLE WITH: Designed to fit standard 1/4 RO tubing, our product seamlessly integrates with most RO systems. Before ordering, please verify your tubing size. For household purifiers, options range from 300cc/min for 50 Gallon systems to 650cc/min for 200 Gallon systems. When it comes to Commercial Water Purifiers handling 400 to 800 Gallons, choose from 800CC/min, 1200CC/min, or 1500CC/min for optimal performance.

Working Pressure: Boasting a working pressure of over 8kg, our system operates efficiently within medium temperatures ranging from 5 to 50 degrees Centigrade. The product water to wastewater ratio, typically around 1:3, varies depending on working pressure and water quality, ensuring adaptability and efficiency.

EASY INSTALLATION: Experience hassle-free, efficient installation with our product. Thanks to the innovative Non-Locking Clip technology, DIY assembly is a breeze, requiring no tools and saving both time and expense.

What is it?
Constructed from food-grade material, our flow restrictor allows for easy connection and disconnection without additional tools. Its primary function is to maximize RO water output while minimizing wastewater production. By creating back pressure on the drain line, it aids in water filtration while maintaining membrane cleanliness. It is compatible with standard 1/4" Copper, CPVC, PEX, and PVC tubing for most RO systems.

Where to use it?
Our flow restrictor is ideal for a wide range of applications including RO systems, beverage dispensers, refrigerator ice makers, and coffee machines. It effectively manages wastewater flow, maintaining membrane cleanliness and ensuring sufficient back pressure for optimal filtration. Enhance your system's efficiency, especially during increased usage, and simplify your water filter installations.

How to use it?
Install the flow restrictor in the drain line that disposes of wastewater into the sink. Identify the line connected to your sink drain and splice the flow restrictor accordingly. An arrow indicates the correct direction for connection. To remove, simply push in the outer circle on each end and pull out. Ensure the membrane flow rating matches for best results. Cut the tubing squarely to prevent leaks, insert it straight into the connector, and avoid crimping for a secure fit.

FAQ
Q: Is a single 1*400GPD unit superior to using two 2*200GPD units?
A: The 2*200GPD configuration is preferred. It offers less adhesive during manufacturing, superior salt rejection rates, and enhanced water flow.
Q: When should the membrane elements be cleaned?
A: It is crucial to clean the membrane elements when any of the following conditions manifest:
There is a 10-15% reduction in normalized permeate flow.
There is a 10-15% rise in normalized permeate total dissolved solids (TDS).
There is a 10-15% surge in normalized pressure drop between the feed and reject.
Q: How can one resolve RO membrane blockage?
A: 1. Initially, confirm if the membrane of the home RO System is indeed blocked.
2. Analyze the regional water quality to determine if scale primarily consists of calcium and magnesium salts.
3. Prepare the cleaning solution using 10% hydrochloric acid or a diluted market-available descaling detergent along with a specialized RO membrane cleaning agent, placing the RO membrane in this solution for a full 24 hours.
4. Subsequently, rinse the RO membrane post-soaking using water produced via ultrafiltration. During rinsing, ensure the pure water outlet is closed and only the waste water outlet is open.
Q: Why does the RO membrane become blocked after only one to two months?
A: 1. Presence of raw water with high salt content and excessive scale buildup.
2. Excessive organic matter content in the water results in RO membrane fouling and blockage.
3. High recovery rates of the RO film can contribute to blockage.
4. Lack of a flushing function in the purifier leads to the deposition of high-concentration brine in the RO membrane shell over extended use.
