Product Description
WATER & FOOD USE: Crafted with care, our water flow restrictors are made from safe and non-toxic materials, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. They are versatile, finding applications in Household Water Purifiers, Commercial Water Purifiers, and Small Reverse Osmosis equipment, catering to diverse filtration needs.

SIZE & TUBE COMPATIBILITY: Our product is designed to fit standard 1/4 RO tubing, commonly used in most RO systems. Prior to ordering, please verify your tubing size for compatibility. For household purifiers, we offer options of 300cc/min for 50 Gallon systems, 350CC/min for 50Gallon/75Gallon, 420CC/min for 75Gallon, 450CC/min for 100Gallon, and 550CC/min for 100Gallon/200Gallon systems. For commercial water purifiers ranging from 400Gallon to 800Gallon, choose from 800CC/min, 1200CC/min, or 1500CC/min options.

WORKING PRESSURE: Our system operates efficiently at pressures exceeding 8kg, with a medium temperature range of 5~50 degrees Centigrade. The water-to-waste ratio is approximately 1:3; however, this may vary based on the working pressure and water quality.

EASY INSTALLATION: Experience the convenience of quick and hassle-free assembly, saving both time and money. Our cutting-edge Non-Locking Clip technology ensures a straightforward DIY installation, eliminating the need for additional tools.

What is it?
Constructed from premium food-grade material, our flow restrictors offer effortless connectivity and disconnection without the need for extra tools. Their primary role is to maximize RO water output while minimizing wastewater production. By creating back pressure on the drain line, they facilitate efficient membrane water passage while maintaining cleanliness. Compatible with standard tubing OD 1/4" Copper, CPVC, PEX, and PVC, they are ideal for most RO systems.

Where to use it?
Our flow restrictors are perfect for use in various applications, including RO systems, beverage dispensers, refrigerator ice makers, and coffee machines. These quick-connect fittings are installed on the wastewater line to regulate flow and maintain membrane cleanliness. They ensure balanced brine solution discharge from the membrane, providing necessary back pressure for optimal filtration. Ideal for system upgrades due to increased usage, they make water filter installations straightforward and stress-free.

How to use it?
Install the flow restrictor in the drain line that leads to your sink. Locate the line connected to your sink drain and splice the flow restrictor accordingly. An arrow indicates the correct connection direction. To remove, simply press the outer circle on each end and pull. Ensure the membrane flow rating aligns with this flow restrictor for optimal performance. Verify that the tubing is cut squarely to prevent leaks. Insert the tubing straight and fully into the connector, avoiding crimping or misalignment that may cause leakage.

FAQ
Q: Is a 1*400GPD unit superior to 2*200GPD units?
A: Opting for 200GPD units is advantageous, as they require less adhesive during production, while providing a superior salt rejection rate and enhanced water flow.
Q: When should the membrane elements be cleaned?
A: It is crucial to clean the membrane elements when any of the following conditions are observed:
A decrease of 10-15% in normalized permeate flow
An increase of 10-15% in normalized permeate total dissolved solids (TDS)
An increase of 10-15% in normalized pressure drop between feed and reject
Q: How can RO Membrane Blockage be resolved?
A: 1. Initially, assess whether the home RO System's membrane is genuinely blocked.
2. Evaluate the regional water quality, identifying if the scale primarily consists of calcium and magnesium salts.
3. Prepare and dispense a solution with 10% hydrochloric acid, or use a diluted descaling detergent available in the market, along with a specialized RO membrane cleaning agent based on the scale's composition. Let the RO membrane soak for 24 hours.
4. Subsequently, thoroughly rinse the RO membrane post-soak, utilizing water produced by ultrafiltration. During the flushing process, close the pure water outlet and exclusively open the wastewater outlet.
Q: Why does the RO membrane experience blockage within one to two months?
A: 1. The presence of raw water with an elevated salt content and excessive scales.
2. If the water's organic matter content surpasses the standard, causing the RO membrane to become fouled and clogged.
3. A high RO film recovery rate contributes to blockage.
4. Absence of a flushing function in the purifier leads to long-term deposition of high-concentration brine in the RO membrane shell.
