How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Start by closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to secure the setup completely.
2. Proceed to open the RO faucet to fully release the pressure within the system, making the membrane replacement safe and smooth.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing for clear and unobstructed access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease, facilitating a seamless operation.
5. Using pliers, gently extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is securely placed inside the housing for an optimal fit.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and attach the blue safety clip to complete the setup effortlessly and seamlessly.
Note: If you encounter difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is perfectly seated against the pure water outlet for a flawless fit.
