How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Shut off the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and close the valve on the water tank.
2. Turn on the RO faucet to relieve pressure from the system and allow it to drain completely.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, depress the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing.
4. Utilize the wrench to unscrew and remove the cap of the membrane housing.
5. Employ pliers to extract the used membrane, dispose of it properly, and insert the new membrane. Ensure the end with two small washers is inserted first, pushing until it sits securely inside the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap. Reattach the tubing and reinstate the blue safety clip.
Note: Should the housing cap resist easy replacement, gently twist the RO membrane to align it correctly with the pure water outlet for a perfect fit.
