How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to secure the setup with precision and care.
2. Then, open the RO faucet to fully release the pressure within the system, ensuring safe and easy membrane replacement without any hassle.
3. Gently remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and carefully detach the tubing from the membrane housing, granting clear access to the internal components.
4. Utilize the included wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease, facilitating a seamless replacement process.
5. With pliers, gently extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring that the end with two washers is securely positioned inside the housing for optimal performance.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to complete the setup seamlessly and effortlessly.
Note: If securing the housing cap proves challenging, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly seated against the pure water outlet for a perfect fit, ensuring flawless operation.
