How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by turning off the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and the water tank valve, ensuring complete safety.
2. Open the RO faucet to allow any remaining pressure within the system to be safely released before proceeding.
3. Remove the blue safety clip, then depress the collect and gently push out the tubing to disconnect it from the membrane housing.
4. With the provided wrench, carefully remove the membrane housing cap.
5. Utilize pliers to extract the used membrane, discarding it responsibly. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two little washers is inserted first. Push until you feel it securely seats within the membrane housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap. Reconnect the previously removed tubing and restore the blue safety clip to its original position.
Note: Should you encounter difficulty replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to properly align it with the pure water outlet.
