How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
Step 1: Carefully turn off both the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and the water tank valve.
Step 2: Open the RO faucet, allowing the system's pressure to safely bleed off.
Step 3: Remove the blue safety clip, depress the collect, and gently push out the tubing to safely disconnect from the membrane housing.
Step 4: Utilize the wrench to skillfully remove the membrane housing cap.
Step 5: With pliers, delicately remove the used membrane, dispose of it, and insert the new membrane. Ensure the end with the two small washers is inserted first, pushing until it is firmly seated in the membrane housing.
Step 6: Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap. Reattach the removed tubing and ensure the blue safety clip is properly in place.
Note: Should difficulty arise in securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to achieve proper seating at the pure water outlet.
