How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by turning off the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system, along with the corresponding valve on the water tank, to secure the system effectively.
2. Proceed to open the RO faucet to completely release the internal pressure, facilitating a safe and effortless membrane replacement process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collet, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing to provide clear access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to expertly unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. With pliers, carefully extract and discard the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring that the end with two washers is securely positioned inside the housing for optimal functioning.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and affix the blue safety clip to flawlessly complete the setup.
Note: Should you encounter difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently rotate the RO membrane to ensure it is perfectly seated against the pure water outlet, achieving a flawless fit.
