How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by shutting off the feed water supply line valve leading to your RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to ensure secure setup maintenance.
2. Proceed to open the RO faucet, fully releasing the system's pressure for a safe and effortless membrane replacement process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing, providing clear access for replacement.
4. Utilize the included wrench to precisely unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with ease.
5. Using pliers, delicately extract and discard the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is securely positioned inside the housing for an optimal fit.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to seamlessly complete the setup.
Note: Should you encounter difficulty securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly seated against the pure water outlet for a perfect fit.
