How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Start by closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system, along with the corresponding valve on the water tank, to secure the setup.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to fully release the pressure within the system. This will ensure a safe and easy membrane replacement process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collet, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing to gain clear access.
4. Use the included wrench to expertly unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. With pliers, gently extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is securely placed inside the housing.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to seamlessly complete the setup.
Note: Should you experience difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly seated against the pure water outlet for a perfect fit.
