How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by shutting off the feed water supply valve to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to securely prepare the system.
2. Proceed by opening the RO faucet to completely release all pressure within the system, ensuring a safe and straightforward membrane replacement process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing to gain clear access.
4. Employ the provided wrench to deftly unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap, allowing for precision and ease.
5. Using pliers, delicately extract the old membrane and dispose of it. Insert the new membrane, ensuring that the end with two washers is securely fitted inside the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and attach the blue safety clip to flawlessly complete the setup.
Note: Should you encounter any difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently rotate the RO membrane to ensure it is perfectly aligned with the pure water outlet for an optimal fit.
