How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. First, shut off the feed water supply line valve to the RO system as well as the valve on the water tank to prevent any water flow.
2. Open the RO faucet to release the pressure within the system, allowing it to bleed off completely and safely.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, then press down on the collect to push out the tubing for disconnection from the membrane housing.
4. Utilize the provided wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with ease.
5. With pliers, extract the used membrane and dispose of it properly. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two small washers goes in first. Push firmly until it seats securely in the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap. Reattach the disconnected tubing and snap the blue safety clip back into place, ensuring all components are properly sealed.
Note: If replacing the housing cap proves difficult, gently twist the RO membrane to align it correctly with the pure water outlet for a perfect fit.
