How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by turning off the feed water supply line valve to your RO system, as well as the valve on the water tank.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to allow for pressure release from the system, ensuring a smooth process.
3. Remove the blue safety clip, press down on the collect, and push out the tubing to disconnect it from the membrane housing.
4. Utilize the wrench provided to carefully remove the membrane housing cap.
5. Use pliers to extract the old membrane, dispose of it responsibly, and insert the new membrane. Ensure the end with the two small washers is inserted first, pushing until it is firmly seated within the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap. Reconnect the tubing and attach the blue safety clip back into place.
Note: If the housing cap resists easy replacement, gently twist the RO membrane to properly align it with the pure water outlet.
