How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin the process by securely closing the feed water supply line valve that leads to the RO system, along with the corresponding valve on the water tank, to ensure a safe setup.
2. Proceed by opening the RO faucet to fully relieve any pressure within the system, ensuring a smooth and safe membrane replacement process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, gently press the collect, and detach the tubing from the membrane housing to gain unobstructed access.
4. Utilize the provided wrench to effortlessly unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap, allowing for precise and easy maintenance.
5. With pliers, gently extract and discard the old membrane. Insert the new membrane with care, ensuring the end with two washers is securely seated inside the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip, completing the setup with seamless efficiency.
Note: Should you experience any difficulty while securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly aligned against the pure water outlet, achieving a perfect fit.
