How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to securely prepare the setup.
2. Proceed by opening the RO faucet to completely release the pressure within the system, facilitating a safe and straightforward membrane replacement process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing to access the membrane easily.
4. Utilize the included wrench to skillfully unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap, ensuring precision and ease in the process.
5. With pliers, delicately extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, making sure the end with two washers is firmly seated inside the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to effortlessly complete the setup.
Note: Should you encounter difficulty securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to verify it is properly aligned against the pure water outlet for an ideal fit.
