How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by securely closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system, as well as the corresponding valve on the water tank, to prepare for maintenance.
2. Proceed by opening the RO faucet to completely release the pressure within the system, allowing for a safe and effortless membrane replacement.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, gently press the collect, and then meticulously detach the tubing from the membrane housing to gain clear access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to precisely unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with ease and accuracy.
5. With pliers, gently extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane with care, ensuring the end with two washers is securely positioned inside the housing.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and affix the blue safety clip to seamlessly complete the setup.
Note: If you encounter any difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly seated against the pure water outlet for an optimal fit.
