How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by shutting off the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and also close the valve on the water tank.
2. Open the RO faucet to release any remaining pressure within the system, ensuring a safe and smooth transition.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, depress the collect, and gently push out the tubing to disconnect it from the membrane housing.
4. Utilize the provided wrench to easily remove the membrane housing cap, making way for the new membrane.
5. With pliers, extract the used membrane, dispose of it properly, and insert the new one. Ensure the end with two small washers is first, pushing it firmly into place for a secure fit in the membrane housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap. Reattach the disconnected tubing and securely replace the blue safety clip.
Note: If you're facing difficulty in replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane until it seats correctly to the pure water outlet.
