How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by turning off the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and the valve on the water tank to ensure a safe and secure process.
2. Open the RO faucet to release any built-up pressure within the system effectively.
3. Gently remove the blue safety clip, push down the collect, and carefully push out the tubing to disconnect it from the membrane housing.
4. Utilize the wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap smoothly.
5. With pliers, extract the used membrane, dispose of it responsibly, and insert the new membrane. Ensure the end with 2 little washers is inserted first, and push until it is securely seated within the membrane housing.
6. Replace and securely tighten the membrane housing cap. Reconnect the tubing and reattach the blue safety clip to complete the process.
Note: Should you encounter difficulty in replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is correctly seated at the pure water outlet.
