How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Start by closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to secure the setup.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to fully release the pressure within the system, ensuring safe and easy membrane replacement.
3. Gently remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and carefully detach the tubing from the membrane housing for clear access.
4. Use the included wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. Using pliers, gently extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring that the end with two washers is securely placed inside the housing.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and attach the blue safety clip to complete the setup seamlessly.
Note: If you experience difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly seated against the pure water outlet for a perfect fit.
