How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by turning off the feed water supply line valve to the RO system, as well as the valve on the water tank, ensuring a safe and dry change.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to allow pressure within the system to be released, preparing the unit for seamless maintenance.
3. Remove the blue safety clip, then push down the collect and slide out the tubing to effortlessly disconnect it from the membrane housing.
4. Utilize the provided wrench to skillfully remove the membrane housing cap without any hassle.
5. With pliers, gently remove the used membrane, dispose of it, and insert the new membrane. Ensure the end with the two small washers is inserted first, pushing until it is securely seated within the housing for optimal performance.
6. Finally, replace and securely tighten the membrane housing cap. Reconnect the tubing and reattach the blue safety clip to complete the process.
Note: Should you encounter difficulty in replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is correctly seated at the pure water outlet, facilitating a perfect fit.
