How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by turning off the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to secure the setup effectively.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to completely release the pressure within the system, ensuring a safe and straightforward membrane replacement process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing to gain clear access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. Using pliers, gently extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is securely placed inside the housing for a perfect fit.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to seamlessly complete the setup.
Note: If you encounter difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is correctly seated against the pure water outlet for a precise fit.
