How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by shutting off the feed water supply valve that connects to the RO system, as well as the valve leading to the water tank.
2. Next, open the RO faucet and allow the system's pressure to release completely.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect downwards, and gently disconnect the tubing from the membrane housing.
4. With the provided wrench, unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap.
5. Employ pliers to extract the used membrane and insert a new one. Insert the end with two little washers first, ensuring it is securely seated into the housing.
6. Securely reattach the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reinsert the blue safety clip, ensuring everything is properly aligned.
Note: Should you experience difficulty replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure proper seating and alignment with the pure water outlet.
