How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by turning off the feed water supply line valve to your RO system as well as the valve on the water tank, ensuring a secure start to your maintenance.
2. Open the RO faucet to allow the system's pressure to bleed off, preparing the unit for safe disassembly.
3. Remove the blue safety clip, press down the collect, and gently disconnect the tubing from the membrane housing, allowing for easy access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to carefully remove the membrane housing cap, ensuring a smooth continuation of the process.
5. With pliers, gently remove the used membrane, discard it, and insert the new one. Make sure the end with two little washers goes in first, pushing firmly until it securely seats within the housing.
6. Replace and tighten the membrane housing cap. Reattach the tubing, and secure it with the blue safety clip, completing the assembly.
Note: If you face difficulty in replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it seats correctly at the pure water outlet, facilitating easy closure.
