How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Turn off the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and the valve on the water tank.
2. Open the RO faucet and allow the pressure in the system to bleed off.
3. Remove the blue safety clip, push down the collect and push out the tubing to disconnect from the membrane housing.
4. Use the wrench to remove the membrane housing cap.
5. Use pliers to remove the used membrane, discard and insert the new membrane. The end with 2 little washers goes in first, push until you feel it seats securely into the membrane housing.
6. Replace and tighten the membrane housing cap. Reconnect the removed tubing and put back the blue safety clip.
Note: If you can't put back the housing cap easily, twist the RO membrane gently to get it correctly seat to the pure water outlet.
