How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to secure the setup efficiently.
2. Subsequently, open the RO faucet to fully release the pressure within the system, ensuring a safe and straightforward membrane replacement experience.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collet, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing for unobstructed access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. With the use of pliers, gently extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is securely positioned within the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to complete the setup effortlessly.
Note: Should you encounter any difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly seated against the pure water outlet, achieving a perfect fit.
