How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Discontinue the feed water supply by closing the valve to the RO system and the water tank valve.
2. Open the RO faucet to release the system's pressure, ensuring a safe operation environment.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, then press down on the collet to detach the tubing from the membrane housing.
4. Employ the provided wrench to unscrew and lift off the membrane housing cap with ease.
5. Extract the used membrane with pliers, discard it, and gently insert the new membrane. Ensure the end with the two washers goes in first, pressing until it's securely in place.
6. Firmly replace and secure the membrane housing cap, reattach the tubing, and return the blue safety clip to its position.
Note: If the housing cap is difficult to replace, gently twist the RO membrane to align it correctly with the pure water outlet.
