How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by shutting off the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to secure the system setup.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to release pressure fully within the system, ensuring a safe and straightforward membrane replacement.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing for unobstructed access.
4. Utilize the provided wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. Employ pliers to gently extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is securely positioned within the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and attach the blue safety clip to seamlessly complete the setup.
Note: If you encounter difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is correctly seated against the pure water outlet for a flawless fit.
