How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system, along with the corresponding valve on the water tank, securing the setup effectively.
2. Proceed to open the RO faucet to completely release the pressure within the system, ensuring a safe and effortless membrane replacement.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing for unobstructed access.
4. Use the supplied wrench to skillfully unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. Using pliers, cautiously extract and discard the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is securely seated inside the housing.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and attach the blue safety clip to complete the setup seamlessly.
Note: Should you encounter difficulty securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly seated against the pure water outlet for a perfect fit.
