How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by closing the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and the valve on the water tank to secure the setup.
2. Open the RO faucet to release the pressure within the system fully, ensuring a safe and straightforward membrane replacement process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and detach the tubing from the membrane housing for clear access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. Using pliers, gently extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, making sure the end with two washers is securely placed inside the housing.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to complete the setup seamlessly.
Note: Should you encounter difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly seated against the pure water outlet for a perfect fit.
