How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by turning off both the feed water supply line valve and the water tank valve to ensure a safe and seamless transition.
2. Open the RO faucet to release system pressure, ensuring a smooth and controlled process.
3. For easy disconnection, remove the blue safety clip, then push down the collect and gently push out the tubing from the membrane housing.
4. Utilize the wrench to carefully remove the cap from the membrane housing, allowing access to the interior components.
5. Use pliers to extract the used membrane, discard it responsibly, and insert the new membrane. Ensure the end with two small washers is inserted first. Push until it seats securely, ensuring optimal operation.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap. Reconnect the tubing and replace the blue safety clip for added security.
Note: If difficulty arises when replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to align it correctly with the pure water outlet, ensuring a snug fit.
