How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by closing the feed water supply line valve connected to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to secure the procedure.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to completely release the system's pressure, facilitating a safe and straightforward membrane replacement.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing for unobstructed access.
4. Utilize the provided wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with ease and accuracy.
5. Employ pliers to gently remove and discard the old membrane, then insert the new one, ensuring the end with two washers is securely positioned inside the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to complete the reinstallation smoothly.
Note: Should you encounter resistance while securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to guarantee it is properly seated against the pure water outlet for an exact fit.
