How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by securely closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system, as well as the corresponding valve on the water tank, to ensure a safe setup.
2. Proceed to open the RO faucet to fully release any pressure within the system, facilitating a secure and smooth membrane replacement process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing for unimpeded access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to deftly unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with ease and precision.
5. Employ pliers to gently extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring that the end with two washers is firmly placed inside the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to effortlessly complete the setup.
Note: If encountering difficulty when securing the housing cap, gently adjust the RO membrane to guarantee it is properly aligned and seated against the pure water outlet for a snug fit.
