How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by shutting the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank, ensuring a secure setup of the system.
2. Proceed to open the RO faucet to fully release pressure in the system, facilitating a safe and straightforward membrane replacement process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collet, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing to have clear access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap effortlessly, ensuring precision and ease in the process.
5. With pliers, gently extract and discard the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is securely positioned inside the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and attach the blue safety clip to complete the setup flawlessly.
Note: If you encounter resistance while securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is correctly seated against the pure water outlet for an optimal fit.
