How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by closing the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and the corresponding valve on the water tank to secure the setup effectively.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to thoroughly release pressure within the system, facilitating safe and convenient membrane replacement.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing for unobstructed access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. With pliers, carefully extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is securely positioned inside the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and affix the blue safety clip to seamlessly complete the setup.
Note: If you encounter difficulty while securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to guarantee it is properly seated against the pure water outlet for a flawless fit.
