How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by securely closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system, as well as the corresponding valve on the water tank, to ensure a stable setup.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to release all pressure within the system completely, allowing for a safe and hassle-free membrane replacement process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, depress the collet, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing, providing clear access for maintenance.
4. With precision and ease, use the provided wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap.
5. Using pliers, delicately extract and discard the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is securely seated within the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to complete the setup seamlessly.
Note: If any difficulty arises when securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly aligned with the pure water outlet, achieving a perfect and snug fit.
