How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Start by turning off both the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and the valve on the water tank for safety.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to allow the system's pressure to bleed off completely.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, then push down on the collect to disconnect the tubing from the membrane housing effortlessly.
4. Utilize the provided wrench to gently remove the membrane housing cap, ensuring ease and precision.
5. With pliers, extract the used membrane, dispose of it, and proceed to insert the new membrane. Ensure the end with two small washers is inserted first, pushing until it securely seats into the membrane housing.
6. Once replaced, tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and securely place back the blue safety clip.
Note: Should you encounter difficulty in replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to align it correctly with the pure water outlet, ensuring a proper fit.
