How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. First, ensure safety by turning off the feed water supply line valve to your RO system and the valve on the water tank.
2. Open the RO faucet to release any remaining pressure within the system, allowing it to bleed off.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press down on the collect and pull out the tubing to disconnect from the membrane housing.
4. Utilize the provided wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with ease.
5. With pliers, gently extract the used membrane and discard it. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two small washers goes in first. Push firmly until it securely seats into the housing.
6. Replace and tighten the cap of the membrane housing, reconnect the tubing, and secure the blue safety clip back in place.
Note: If the housing cap doesn't fit back easily, gently twist the RO membrane to correctly align it with the pure water outlet.
