How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system, as well as the corresponding valve on the water tank, to secure the setup meticulously.
2. Subsequently, open the RO faucet to completely release any pressure within the system, ensuring a safe and straightforward membrane replacement process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, press the collet, and gently detach the tubing from the membrane housing to gain clear access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to skillfully unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with precision and ease.
5. Using pliers, delicately extract and dispose of the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring the end with two washers is securely placed inside the housing for a snug fit.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to flawlessly complete the setup.
Note: If any difficulty is encountered while securing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly seated against the pure water outlet, ensuring a perfect fit.
