How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by turning off the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system, as well as the valve on the water tank.
2. Open the RO faucet to relieve system pressure.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, then depress the collect and gently pull out the tubing to disconnect it from the membrane housing.
4. With the wrench, unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap.
5. Use pliers to extract the used membrane, discard it, and insert the new membrane. Ensure the end with two small washers enters first, pushing until it is securely seated within the membrane housing.
6. Reattach the membrane housing cap securely. Reconnect the tubing, and replace the blue safety clip to complete the setup.
Note: If difficulty arises in replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to align correctly with the pure water outlet for smooth reassembly.
