How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. To start, turn off the feed water supply line valve to the RO system along with the corresponding valve on the water tank.
2. Proceed by opening the RO faucet, which will allow the pressure within the system to fully dissipate.
3. Gently remove the blue safety clip, press the collect, and carefully disconnect the tubing from the membrane housing.
4. Use the supplied wrench to unscrew and take off the cap of the membrane housing with care.
5. Employ pliers to remove the old membrane, dispose of it properly, and insert the new membrane. Ensure the end with two washers is inserted first and is securely seated within the housing.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and reattach the blue safety clip to complete the process seamlessly.
Note: If you face difficulty while replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is accurately seated at the pure water outlet.
