How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by shutting off the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system along with the corresponding valve on the water tank to ensure safety and efficiency.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to allow complete dissipation of pressure within the system, ensuring a smooth transition.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip and gently depress the collet to detach the tubing from the membrane housing, ensuring a delicate and safe procedure.
4. Utilize the provided wrench to meticulously unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap, assuring precise handling.
5. With pliers, skillfully extract the used membrane, dispose of it properly, and insert the new membrane, with the end featuring two washers first, ensuring it is securely placed within the housing.
6. Securely replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and safely reattach the blue safety clip, completing the procedure with ease and assurance.
Note: If you experience difficulty in replacing the housing cap, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is correctly seated at the pure water outlet for optimal functionality.
