How to Change RO Housing and Membrane?
1. Begin by closing the feed water supply line valve leading to the RO system and the water tank valve to securely prepare for the change.
2. Next, open the RO faucet to completely release the pressure within the system, ensuring a safe and smooth membrane replacement process.
3. Carefully remove the blue safety clip, gently press the collect, and detach the tubing from the membrane housing to gain clear access.
4. Utilize the included wrench to unscrew and remove the membrane housing cap with ease and precision.
5. Using pliers, carefully extract and discard the old membrane. Insert the new membrane, ensuring that the end with two washers is securely seated inside the housing.
6. Firmly replace and tighten the membrane housing cap, reconnect the tubing, and securely attach the blue safety clip to seamlessly complete the setup.
Note: If securing the housing cap presents difficulty, gently twist the RO membrane to ensure it is properly seated against the pure water outlet for a perfect fit.
